Our family had a very disappointing experience with Marietta Dental Professionals regarding billing and insurance handling. After routine cleanings for my daughters, we received unexpected balances because insurance benefits had been exhausted due to prior claims. The office explained that they only verify insurance once per year "as a courtesy" and stated that patients are responsible for independently tracking their remaining insurance benefits throughout the year. In our case, treatment proceeded without warning that insurance benefits had not been re-verified or that coverage might no longer be available. Had we been informed, we would have postponed the appointments. I also found the communication process unacceptable. I sent several letters, including two certified dispute letters, requesting clarification and documentation. The first certified letter was ignored. For months, the office continued sending payment requests while the dispute remained unresolved. A written explanation was provided only after my second certified letter. Their reply emphasized that patients should independently verify their remaining insurance benefits before treatment, even if insurance had previously been checked by the office. In my opinion, patients should be clearly informed whenever insurance benefits have not been re-verified and when there is a possibility that treatment may not be covered.

Dr. Ray and Raquel took excellent care of me today. Dr. Ray made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire procedure, and I felt confident that I was in great hands. Raquel always makes me feel welcome, she’s awesome! Both Dr. Ray and Raquel kept me informed about what to expect and answered all of my questions. Overall, they were both very courteous, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend this office! Thank you!

Dr. Morar was incredibly patient, thorough, and gentle, taking the time to explain everything and make sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. I truly appreciated how detailed and attentive the care was — this was one of the most thorough cleanings I’ve ever had, and it was done with so much care and professionalism. I also want to recognize Sharon, who was kind, calming, and extremely attentive throughout my appointment. She made the entire experience feel smooth and stress-free. What really stood out to me was how efficient and thoughtful the entire visit was, including being able to complete checkout right in the treatment room. It made the experience seamless and comfortable from beginning to end. Dr. Morar is clearly passionate about his work and about serving the community he grew up in. I’m so grateful to have found a dental office that I truly trust and feel comfortable returning to. I highly recommend Marietta Dental Professionals to anyone looking for exceptional care.
